From an after dark Wonderland egg hunt to Easter brunch with drag queens to the Big Easter Run (dressed up as a bunny of course), there are so many ways to celebrate Easter in Vancouver, it’s not even bunny.
If you’re egg-cited about Easter puns and chocolate eggs, these events are great for a fun weekend with the whole family or with your friends.
Boozy Egg Hunt (Plus a family-friendly version)
Maan Farms will offer Easter fun for both families and adults in two separate events this year. Families and kids get to meet the Easter Bunny, play with baby animals at the Barnyard Adventureland and go on a scavenger hunt for a special Easter treat at the Baby Animal Easter days. Adult-only fun starts at 6 p.m. with the Bunnies & Booze Easter Egg Hunt, including appetizers, dinner, booze, games and a ‘90s retro egg hunt.

Easter Drag Brunch
The GPO Bar + Kitchen is hosting an Easter Sunday Drag Brunch with some of Vancouver’s most talented Drag Queens including Carmen Dior, Rogue and Diamonte. Each ticket comes with a brunch item, a Phillips Brewing Beermosa and a drag performance.
When: April 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Big Easter Run 2022
Run with the local bunnies at the 7th annual Big Easter Run at Jericho Beach Park. Complete with a DJ, prize giveaways and vendors, the run takes you on a scenic tour of the park– if you look close enough, you may spot Jericho Beach’s resident fluffballs. Registration for the 1km Little Bunny Run or 5km/10km Big Bunny Run comes with a customizable bunny name bib, bunny ears and chocolate medal. Participants in the 1-3km kids run can also join the Egg Hunt.

Afterdark Adult Wonderland-Themed Egg Hunt
This 19+ glow in the dark egg hunt in Carisbrooke Park is also 420/BYOB friendly! Each ticket comes with a keepsake glowing basket to collect your glowing Easter eggs– most are filled with candy, toys and other sparkly goodies, but some have special golden tickets to draw from the White Rabbit’s Warren. Don’t forget to dress up for this Wonderland-themed event! The most glowing costume gets a special prize.

Underwater Scavenger Hunt With Scuba Bunny
Visit the Scuba Bunny for his daily dive at the Vancouver Aquarium and keep an eye out for blue eggs hidden among the fish. Answer as many trivia questions as you can along the way and you can win a prize.
When: April 2 to 18 (Easter Bunny dives daily at 1p.m.)

Rabbitats’ Bunnyfest
Richmond Lavenderland is hosting this year’s Rabbitats’ Easter Bunnyfest and there will be plenty of cute rescued bunnies and family activities, including artisan vendors, a crafts market, face painting, hot chocolate and a prize draw. Best of all, this Meet & Treat goes towards a good cause! All proceeds go to Rabbitat’s Rescue Society, a volunteer-run charity that rescues and cares for feral and abandoned rabbits.

DIY Giant Chocolate Egg
‘Tis the season for chocolate eggs, so why not make your own giant chocolate Easter Egg? Hand paint, cast in chocolate and stuff little DIY bunnies into your own custom 15-cm tall Easter egg at the Drunken Chocolatier. Whether you gift it after or eat it yourself is up to you, we won’t judge.

Stanley Park Easter Train
Hop on board the Easter Train at Stanley Park and go on a railway adventure through the forest. You can also meet-and-greet the Easter Bunny at the Bunny Burrow Maze. And if you’re hungry, there are plenty of vendors offering sweet and savoury snacks.

Easter Yacht Party
What better way to celebrate Easter than on a yacht?! Afrobach is hosting its first yacht party of the year on April 15 and will have you dancing all night long. The two-floor yacht party sets sail at 8p.m. and doesn’t leave the ocean dance floor until past midnight. This party will satisfy all your music tastes with three DJs and special performance. DJ Rockstar will take over the top floor blasting Afrobeats and Dancehall music, while DJ KG Fresh and DJ Chips will turn up on the second floor with 90s Hip Hop, Rap and Drill music at the same time. Tickets for this 19+ event can be purchased online and are not refundable.

Easterfest
Taves Farm is bringing back their Easterfest this spring and it’s a great time for the whole family. Admission includes plenty of fun activities like a hay ride down the Bunny Trail, the Petting Barn and Bunny Town, jumping pillows and pedal karts, cider samples and of course, an Easter egg hunt. Tickets can be purchased online.
