Barryton Lilac Festival will feature a wide variety of events, activities, and entertainment in downtown Barryton.
The Barryton Lilac Festival is an annual event that occurs during the first weekend of June. This year the festival will be going on from Friday June 3 to Sunday, June 5.
As a part of the Lilac Festival in downtown Baryton, two churches will be sponsoring the ‘2 Nights of Spiritual Revival and 1 Morning of Community Worship’ event which will feature local music and speakers.
The events of June 3, sponsored by Chippewa Lake Community Church, will begin around 6 p.m. and showcase Pastor Roger and Donna Bennett with the Chippewa Lake Music Team.
On June 4 and 5, Barryton Church of God will sponsor the event. For June 4, events will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature Pastor Mark Robb and the band Alanna Story.
Events for June 5, will start at 10:30 a.m. and showcase Pastor Gerald and Veronica Roesly with the Church of God Choir.

- The marketplace/vendors opens from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- A library book sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Carnival (Native Amusements) Pony Rides/Petting Farm from 4 p.m. to dark
- A Prince & Princess Contest at the Front Pavilion at 6 p.m.
Saturday, June 4-
- Area wide yard sales
- Chain Saw Carving Demos
- Clark the Juggler
- The marketplace/vendors opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- A library book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion
- Carnival and Pony Rides from 10 a.m. to dark
- The parade line-up at the Elementary School at 10 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m. and a Jr. Firefighters Obstacle Course will occur after the parade.
- Chicken BBQ prepared by the Crusin’ Chef at the Farmers Market Pavilion at 11 a.m.
- Horseshoe Pitching Contest at 11 a.m. Sign up begins at 10:30 a.m.
- A Car & Bike Show at Northern Avenue from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sign up for the show begins at 1 p.m. and judging will begin at 3 p.m.
- Kids Games will be going on by the Farmers Market Pavilion at 2 p.m.
- Talent Show at Farmers Market Pavilion at 6 p.m.
Sunday, June 5

- 5K Run begins at 9 a.m. with registration and packet pick up beginning at 8 a.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion.
- Carnival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Bed Race at noon with registration at 11 a.m., beginning at the the Farmers Market Pavilion.
