Camino – A Walk with Jesus: The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles invites people to an 11-mile walk in celebration of 250 years of Catholic faith in Los Angeles from Mission San Gabriel Arcángel (428 S. Mission Drive, San Gabriel). Archbishop José H. Gomez celebrates Mass at the mission at 8 a.m. The walk, beginning at 9 a.m., will end with a prayer service, 2:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple St., Los Angeles. There will be rest and water stops and a lunch along the route (see the website). The walk is part of the Jubilee Year, “Forward in Mission,” that began on Sept. 11, 2021 and runs through Sept. 10.
